With a history spanning more than 40 years, Scuba Panama has become a cornerstone of the local diving community. The centre operates across two distinct environments, providing the opportunity to experience the unique marine life of both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, as well as the historic waters of the Panama Canal.

The main facility is located in Panama City, featuring a comprehensive dive shop, classrooms, and an on-site pool for training. For those looking to base themselves closer to the Caribbean coast, the watersports centre in Portobelo, Colón, offers a more relaxed retreat with comfortable cabins, an on-site restaurant, and exclusive access to a private island.

The centre is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center run by a family-owned business. The team is composed of 16 experienced instructors, ensuring a high level of expertise and support for divers of all abilities.

Instruction and communication are handled in both English and Spanish. Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are working towards professional levels, the team is equipped to manage a wide range of training requirements.

Scuba Panama offers a comprehensive catalogue of PADI courses. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Open Water Diver course, with e-learning options available to complete theoretical components before practical sessions.

For more experienced divers, the centre provides Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster training. Specialty courses are also available, including PADI Deep Diver, Night Diver, Underwater Navigator, and PADI Digital Underwater Photographer. For those looking to refine specific skills, refresher courses and DAN First Aid courses are also provided.

The Panama City facility serves as the primary hub, offering a full range of equipment hire for those who do not wish to travel with their own kit. This includes regulators, wetsuits, fins, and torches for night dives.

For those training in the city, the on-site pool provides a controlled environment for skills practice and coursework. Nitrox is available for divers looking to extend their bottom times.
