The boats
The centre operates the Cheetah Marine, a 38-foot (11.6 m) catamaran powered by twin 300 hp engines. It has a capacity for 15 to 18 divers and is used for excursions to sites around the island, including the remote reefs of Eastpoint and Klein Curaçao.
Onboard, a simple lunch is provided for the divers. The boat is equipped to handle various dive types, including night dives and trips to more distant locations where the reef structure changes significantly from the house reef.

Full equipment hire is available on-site for those not travelling with their own kit. This includes all the essentials needed for both shore and boat diving.
For those looking to extend their bottom time, Enriched Air Nitrox is available. The centre also provides dive computers as part of its service for courses and guided dives.
Dive sites with Porto Mari Dive Center, Porto Mari Extra N.V.
The Porto Mari house reef is a double reef accessible directly from the beach. It is a calm, well-organised site with low currents, making it ideal for all levels to see large schools of fish, moray eels, and octopuses.
The Superior Producer is a 50-metre wreck that remains one of the best-preserved in Curaçao. Sitting at a maximum depth of 30 metres, this site is for advanced divers and is heavily colonised by corals and sponges, attracting tarpon and barracuda.
The Tugboat is a shallow wreck located in a protected bay, resting at a depth of approximately 5 metres. It is an excellent site for Open Water Diver level divers or snorkelers, featuring an impressive wall that sits just beyond the wreck itself.
Klein Curaçao offers a special expedition to a remote, wild side of the island. These drift dives take you over pristine reefs covered in gorgonians and soft corals, far from the more populated areas of the island.
