Castellammare del Golfo railway station is about 2 miles away on foot. Falcone-Borsellino Airport is about 21 miles away by road, and Trapani Airport about 32 miles, making a pre-arranged transfer or hire car the sensible way to arrive with luggage.

The room choice is really about how much space and outlook you want after a day outside. If the sea matters when you open the curtains, choose one of the sea-view rooms rather than hoping the Mediterranean will make a surprise appearance.

Excursions can take you towards Scopello, the Zingaro Nature Reserve or Erice. Segesta, including its archaeological site and Temple, is about 6 miles away by road and makes a solid alternative to another day on the beach.

Back at the hotel, the shared lounge and outdoor furniture give you somewhere to sit with a coffee or a drink. There is no need to manufacture entertainment between meals: the town, the shore and western Sicily provide enough of it.
