Scuba Nano about the centre
Scuba Nano is an established dive centre located in Al Safra, on the Keserwan coast just north of Beirut. Since opening in 2006, the centre has built a reputation for professional standards, operating as a NAUI Platinum Pro Dive Centre and a TDI Resort Dive Centre.
The location offers immediate access to a variety of Mediterranean environments. You can choose between shore dives on the house reef for training or refresher dives, or head out to explore deeper wrecks, vertical walls, and complex cave systems that define this stretch of the Lebanese coast.
The club and its team
The centre is led by Nabil Chedid, a NAUI Worldwide Course Director Trainer. His expertise extends into public safety and technical disciplines, and he serves as an instructor for the Lebanese army, as well as a DAN Europe and EU First Aid Instructor Trainer.
Instruction is provided in English, Arabic, and French. The centre’s technical focus is reflected in its ability to teach advanced disciplines such as cave penetration, sidemount, and underwater archaeology, catering to divers who want to push beyond recreational limits.

Dive sites with Scuba Nano
AliceB & Halat Mushroom is a classic wreck and reef combination. You can descend along the line to explore the AliceB wreck before circling the Halat mushroom rock.
Palapas, Civil Defense, Aqua Wall, and Toronegro offer a variety of Mediterranean walls and drop-offs. These sites feature vertical structures covered in diverse marine life, providing a different experience each time you visit.
Smashed and Christmas Cave are highly photogenic sites known for their interplay of light and shadow. These caverns are ideal for divers looking to explore interesting overhead environments.
Bwar Cave, Cross Cave, and St Elias Cave form a trilogy of marine caves located just minutes from the port. These sites are characterised by natural arches, torch beams, and cathedral-like spaces.

Diving conditions
The centre offers shore diving on the house reef, which is suitable for all levels, including training and refresher dives. Boat trips are typically organised for groups of at least three divers, while shore dives can be conducted with a minimum of two divers.
