Opal Underwater operates as the diving arm of Jaba, focusing on connecting divers to the natural adventure of the seabed. The centre is positioned to take you beyond simple tourism, focusing instead on the connection between the diver and the marine environment through structured exploration and conservation-minded activities.

The centre is run by a team of passionate divers and certified instructors dedicated to the PADI standards of training and safety. They manage everything from introductory dives to more technical explorations of the local reefs.

Beyond standard guided dives, the team offers specialised programmes including snorkeling and underwater photography. Their approach is rooted in the wider Jaba philosophy of adventure, which integrates diving with other outdoor pursuits like camping and climbing to create a holistic experience of the Saudi landscape.

Opal Underwater offers a range of PADI certifications to suit different experience levels. For those new to the water, they provide the Open Water Diver course to build a foundational skill set.

They also cater to more experienced divers through various guided exploration programmes, allowing you to apply your certification in the diverse environments of the Yanbu coast.

The centre operates boat excursions to access the various reef systems and wreck sites located off the coast of Yanbu.

The centre provides various services for divers preparing for their excursions, including equipment hire for those travelling without their own kit. This includes essential items such as wetsuits, masks, fins, and regulators.
