Cookies and trackers

What the website stores in your browser, and what you can refuse.

A tracker is a small piece of data stored in your browser when you visit a website (a cookie or local storage). Some are essential for the website to work; the others are used only with your consent.

Essential technical services (protection against bots, delivery of images and videos, exchange rates) are loaded from third-party servers: they do not require your consent. Base maps and video thumbnails are also loaded from third-party servers, without cookies: your IP address is passed to them (see the privacy policy).

Anonymous audience measurement (no consent required)

We count visits anonymously, with no identifier and no IP address kept. Two markers are stored in your browser: dd-vu (you have visited before) and dd-visite (a visit is in progress, until the tab is closed). You can refuse this counting at any time with the button at the bottom of this page.

Subject to your consent

A banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept or refuse the trackers below, each in one click, or choose by category. They are triggered only after your consent or an action on your part (click, ticked box, browser permission).

  • Marketing: the Meta pixel and the Google Ads remarketing tag, which measure the effect of our campaigns and allow us to show you our ads on their services; and our partner's flight search engine, which runs in your browser and may place its own cookies there (measurement, attribution of the commission). Without your consent, the flight search engine does not load.
  • Additional Features: notifications (wallpapers, news): after your consent in the browser, a subscription identifier is stored (dd-push-ok, dd-push-alias) and our notification provider keeps one; duration: until you unsubscribe, and 1 year for the cookie. Street View and the voice assistant (voice and microphone) load only after you click.
  • Social Content: YouTube videos load only after you click. By clicking, you accept that they are loaded; the provider may then store information.
  • Personalisation of offers (dd-suivi): if you have ticked the newsletter or the offers in “My account”, a marker is placed in your browser. It disappears when you sign out or if you withdraw your consent.

How to choose

You can change your choices at any time with the Manage my cookies link, or the floating button on the left of the screen. The manager also shows the list of third-party services and, when they are known, the names of their cookies, their purpose and their duration.

You can also delete this website's data in your browser settings, withdraw your consent to offers by unticking the box in “My account”, and refuse the anonymous counting of visits (button below).
