Spondylus DC Mancora

Located in Máncora, on the Piura coast of Peru, Spondylus Dive Center serves as a gateway to the tropical Pacific. The area is known for its unique marine biodiversity and the distinct adventures offered by the northern Peruvian coastline.

The centre is established as a PADI affiliated operation, focusing on providing a personalised approach to diving. Whether you are looking to start your training or are an experienced diver seeking exploration, the centre operates from its base on Av. Panamericana 476.

The team at Spondylus is led by Head Instructor Maurice Epstein, who brings more than 20 years of experience to the operation. He is supported by instructor Carlos Laos, ensuring that professional standards are maintained throughout your training or guided dives.

Operational support is provided by boat captain and artisanal fisherman Juan Salcedo, alongside coordinator Margot Hidalgo. This blend of professional diving instruction and local maritime knowledge provides a solid foundation for every trip out to the water.

The centre offers a full suite of PADI training programmes, ranging from the initial Discover Scuba Diving sessions to the complete Open Water Diver certification. For those looking to progress their skills, Advanced Open Water and specialty courses are available to suit specific interests.
