Centro Sub Sanremo is a well-established diving hub situated in Arma di Taggia, positioned strategically to access the diverse marine environments of the western Ligurian Sea. For over two decades, the centre has operated as a cornerstone for the local diving community, bridging the gap between the Sanremo coastline and the deeper waters of the Ponente Ligure.

The centre serves as a base for both local residents and visiting divers looking to explore the area's unique underwater topography. Whether you are looking to take your first breaths underwater or are a technical diver seeking wreck penetration, the facility is designed to support every stage of your progression.

The team consists of five qualified instructors, ensuring a professional approach to both training and guided excursions. They are multi-certified across several major organisations, including PADI, CMAS, SSI, TDI, and INTD, allowing for a versatile curriculum that meets international standards.

Instruction is provided in Italian and Russian. The centre is also committed to inclusive diving, offering specific programmes for children and adapted courses for divers with disabilities.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering the entire spectrum of diver development. Beginners can start with the 'Battesimo del Mare' or progress through the PADI and SSI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses. For those looking to professionalise, the centre offers Divemaster training.

Advanced and technical divers can specialise in several disciplines, including Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck, and Sidemount. The centre also provides advanced technical training in CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather) and Trimix.

The centre provides a full range of rental equipment, including wetsuits, regulators, and cylinders, to ensure you have everything required for your dives. For those looking to extend their underwater capabilities, Nitrox and Trimix are available on-site.

On land, the facilities are designed for comfort and practicality. You will find spacious changing rooms, hot showers to warm up after a dive, and a dedicated classroom for theoretical training. There is also a relaxation area to unwind between dives.

The rocky reefs and underwater reliefs are home to a variety of Mediterranean species. You will frequently encounter groupers and various types of coral amongst the structures.

In the surrounding waters, the biodiversity is characteristic of the Ligurian coast, with many divers spotting typical Mediterranean fauna during their excursions.
