Zero Meno Diving Center

Zeromeno Diving Center is situated in the coastal locality of Campese on Isola del Giglio. Designed as an open, garden-like space, the centre sits right on the water's edge, providing a natural and welcoming atmosphere for the diving community.

The centre operates as a sports association, focusing on high-quality recreational diving and professional training. Whether you are looking to start your training or advance your skills, the setup is designed to facilitate both learning and social interaction among sea enthusiasts.

The team is led by owners Luca, Francesca, and Andrea. They are supported by a versatile crew including Samuele, who is a specialist in freediving, and Sergio and Cosimo, who serve as captains and dive professionals.

Instruction is provided by qualified staff, including an instructor capable of leading Divemaster programmes. The team's diverse expertise, ranging from freediving to professional guiding, ensures a high level of support for all divers on site.

The centre offers a complete range of recreational diving certifications. You can begin your journey with the Open Water Diver course and progress through to more advanced levels.

For those looking to professionalise their skills, they provide Rescue Diver and Divemaster training. The Divemaster programme includes a minimum 10-day internship to ensure a thorough understanding of professional diving standards.

The centre operates an 8.5-metre Lomac boat with a capacity for 15 divers. The vessel is equipped with navigation instruments, an echo sounder, and safety gear including life jackets and an emergency oxygen cylinder. For convenience during dives, the boat carries courtesy lines and bottles, and features dedicated baskets for fins and weight belts.

The shore-based facilities are designed for efficient kit management and comfort. There are dedicated individual areas for changing and preparing your equipment, including a deposit service. For post-dive maintenance, the centre provides a rinsing zone with two basins, two fixed showers, and hoses supplied with disinfected freshwater.

A dedicated study room is available for classroom-based training and theory sessions.

The marine life around Isola del Giglio is diverse, with many species found within the various underwater shafts and reef structures. You can regularly encounter Mediterranean marine fauna, including various species of shrimp.

For those with an eye for detail, the area is home to seahorses and a variety of crustaceans. The clear waters also offer opportunities to spot ocean sunfish.

The ecosystem is well-established, providing a rich habitat for many of the local Mediterranean species that inhabit the seabed and rocky outcrops.
