Situated in the coastal town of Monopoli, Dive Blu Monopoli serves as a gateway to the diverse marine environments of the Adriatic coast. The area is defined by its limestone cliffs and varied seabed, offering everything from shallow seagrass meadows to significant deep-water wrecks.

The centre operates as an SSI affiliate, providing a structured environment for both recreational divers and those looking to advance into technical or professional realms. Whether you are looking for a relaxed dive along the reef flats or a challenging descent on a vertical wall, the local topography provides a wide spectrum of experiences.

The instructor team is composed of five professionals with a broad range of specialisations. You will find SSI and PADI certified instructors, including specialists in technical diving such as Trimix Normossico and Rebreather Helitrox Diluent, as well as dedicated freediving and breath-hold instructors.

Safety and professional standards are supported by instructors trained in DAN (Divers Alert Network) first aid and BLSD. The team also includes qualified lifeguards and instructors capable of teaching FISA swimming pool and sea assistance modules, ensuring a high level of expertise on-site.

The training programme covers the entire SSI spectrum, starting with Try Scuba and Basic Diver for those new to the water. For those seeking certification, the centre runs Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses, alongside various SSI Specialty programmes.

For divers looking to advance their careers, the centre provides Divemaster and Instructor SSI training. The curriculum also extends into the realm of freediving, with Level 1 and Level 2 courses available, as well as Scuba Refresh programmes for those returning to the water after a break.

The centre is fully equipped for shore-based preparations, offering complete kit hire for those travelling without their own equipment. This includes regulators, wetsuits, fins, and masks, as well as torches for night dives.

For gas management, the facility provides air and Nitrox fills on-site. The shop also offers equipment servicing and maintenance to ensure your kit is in top condition for your dives.

The seabed is characterised by lush Posidonia seagrass meadows and rocky reefs. You will encounter a variety of reef fish including damselfish, white seabream, bogue, and various rockfish, often alongside amberjack and brown meagre.

On the vertical walls and around wrecks, the scenery is defined by large gorgonians and sea fans. These structures provide a habitat for many species, including various types of octopus, cuttlefish, and moray eels.

Macro life is abundant for the observant diver, with nudibranchs and flabellina frequently found among the crevices. You can also spot various crustaceans, including crabs and pagures, alongside smaller inhabitants like sea urchins and various molluscs.
