Miramare Residence is an aparthotel-style resort for divers who like a little room to organise the day rather than being funnelled from breakfast to buffet and back again. You have a kitchenette, a private patio and access to a large garden, so there is space to sit down properly when the legs have had enough of boats, fins and island roads.

The protected Egadi Islands marine area is around 1 km from the property, giving you another reason to explore beyond the nearest stretch of sand.

Trapani Airport is about 45 minutes away by car. The Molo San Leonardo harbour, with ferry connections to Trapani, is around a ten-minute drive from the residence, making the arrival and departure logistics fairly straightforward once your crossing is arranged.

The accommodation is Mediterranean in style and works particularly well if you prefer to make the room serve the holiday rather than merely store your luggage. Studios, cottages and apartments all have a private bathroom, a seating area and a fully equipped kitchenette, with a fridge for keeping water cold and something edible ready for the return from the boat. A private patio or covered veranda adds a proper place to sit, rather than forcing you to balance a drink on the edge of a suitcase.

For two people, the studios, cottages and double rooms keep things simple, with a king-size bed in the relevant categories. If three people are travelling together, the triple room or a one-bedroom apartment gives you a more sensible arrangement than trying to make two divers and their luggage negotiate one small sleeping area. Breakfast is a buffet, while the half-board option gives you a straightforward way to cover part of the day without turning every evening into a search for an open table. The terrace is the important detail here: you can eat outside, look towards the water and let the island do some of the talking.

When the afternoon needs a less formal landing, the Pool Bar handles cocktails and snacks beside the outdoor pool. There is one named bar, and it is placed where you are most likely to want it after a swim rather than hidden behind a reception desk. Vending machines also cover snacks and drinks for the moments when the timetable does not quite line up with hunger.

The kitchenette gives you another option. With a fridge and your own outdoor table, you can keep supplies in the accommodation and prepare something light when a full restaurant meal feels like an unnecessary expedition. Grocery deliveries are available, and room service operates during limited hours.

The main outdoor pool has a bar built into the setting, giving you an easy post-dive alternative to another trip into town. Sun loungers, beach chairs, a solarium, the sun terrace and the garden all support the same basic plan: find a comfortable position and stay there until the urge to move returns. There is also a private beach with golden sand, loungers and parasols.

For a little more movement, the property offers table tennis, bicycle hire, snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding and boat excursions. These are useful choices for a couple travelling together when one of you wants to stay active and the other has already declared the afternoon a horizontal activity. Cycling and walking excursions can also take you towards Favignana town, Cala Rossa and Bue Marino.

Families have access to outdoor play equipment and a children's menu. The residence also offers car hire and organised excursions around the local area, so you can make a day of the island rather than limiting the trip to the beach immediately outside.

Car hire is available, while bicycle hire gives you a more island-appropriate way to reach the beaches and town.
