Chia Diving

Chia Diving is situated at Malfatano Beach in the southern part of Sardinia, providing direct access to the region's diverse underwater topography. The centre is built on a foundation of local knowledge, operated by a team of instructors, freedivers, and local guides who have spent years exploring these specific waters.

Whether you are looking to start your training or are an experienced diver seeking to explore local reefs and walls, the centre provides the necessary infrastructure. The team at Chia Diving is composed of professionals with diverse skill sets, including recreational diving, technical diving, freediving, and underwater photography. As a centre affiliated with both PADI and SSI, they maintain high standards of instruction and safety. The staff's familiarity with the local seabed, including every secret corner and reef, allows them to guide you through the most interesting features of the local underwater landscape.

Chia Diving offers a comprehensive range of training through both PADI and SSI affiliations. For those new to the water, they provide Try Dive and Scuba Review programmes, leading into the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For divers looking to progress their skills or professional career, the centre offers Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and Deep Diver courses. They also provide Enriched Air Nitrox training for those wishing to extend their bottom times. All equipment is included in the cost of the courses.

The centre operates a gommone for excursions, which can be used for guided dives or private snorkeling trips. The boat has a capacity for up to 6 people during private snorkeling outings, and snacks and water are provided on board for these trips.

The centre provides a full range of rental equipment, specifically utilising latest-generation Mares kit. This includes Mares wetsuits, adjustable Mares BCDs, Mares regulators equipped with an octopus and manometer, and Mares masks with a wide field of vision. Fins, weights, and SMBs (surface marker buoys) are also available.

For more advanced divers, dive computers are included in the kit rental. All equipment is maintained to high standards, disinfected, and checked before every use. Sizes for children are also available for those requiring smaller equipment.
