You are in Corral, in Chile’s Los Ríos region, at Huiro Lote 3-3 on the coast. The property has direct access to a sandy beach, with the sea on one side and forest around the lodge. This is not a town-centre address: the setting is coastal and rural, with the beach reached directly from the property.

From the airport, the road journey matters. Pichoy Airport is 46 miles away by road, with a stated driving time of 1 hour 58 minutes. The route runs towards Niebla, includes the ferry to Corral, then follows the coast towards Chaihuín; after the Chaihuín bridge, you continue towards Huiro for about 4 km. Nearby restaurants and bars are a drive away rather than a stroll from your terrace.

The accommodation is arranged as suites with sea views, private bathrooms and outdoor space in the form of a balcony, terrace or patio. The smaller sea-view suite is aimed squarely at two; the deluxe version adds room for a third guest, with a sofa bed making the difference. Choose the latter if you want a little more flexibility, rather than trying to make a couple’s room perform family-duty by force.

Inside, you have air conditioning, heating and a fan, along with a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, wardrobe space and a seating area with sofa and desk. The kitchen set-up includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and kitchenware, while a shared kitchen is also available. That gives you cold water, coffee and a place for simple food when you return hungry and not especially interested in dressing for dinner.

For something more active, the lodge offers bicycle rental, hiking, boat trips and excursions to islands. Wildlife observation is part of the property’s identity, and cooking classes provide a slower alternative for a day when your legs have had enough. A spa with massage is also available, giving you a way to deal with tired shoulders without turning the whole afternoon into a sporting event.

Families have an indoor play area, board games and children’s books, DVDs or music, as well as a kids’ club. For adults travelling as a couple, the shared lounge and outdoor areas are better suited to a quiet drink, a book or a long look at the coast than to organised entertainment.

Pichoy Airport is 46 miles away by road, and an airport shuttle is available. The lodge also has free private parking on site, with no reservation required, so a car is a practical choice for the coastal approach and for reaching restaurants beyond the property. Check-in runs from 15:00 to 22:00, and you need to give the lodge your expected arrival time. Check-out is from 05:00 to 11:00, useful if your onward journey begins early. The minimum check-in age is 21, children of any age are welcome, and cots or extra beds are not available.
