Aqua Star

Located on the Almog Beach stretch of Eilat, Aqua Star Diving Club provides direct access to some of the most significant reef systems in the region. The centre is positioned to take advantage of the local marine environment, offering a gateway to the diverse corals and fish populations that define this part of the Red Sea.

The club operates with a focus on structured learning and safety, catering to everyone from children aged 8 and up to professional divers. Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are working towards a Divemaster qualification, the proximity to the reef flats makes for efficient dive days.

The team consists of 5 professional instructors, all certified through SSI and SDI. This ensures that training standards remain consistent across their wide variety of course offerings, from basic Scuba Diver levels to advanced professional modules.

Instruction is delivered in English, Hebrew, and Russian, making the centre accessible to a broad international community. The team emphasises small group training, which allows for more personalised attention during technical skills development or buoyancy training.

Beyond standard recreational diving, the instructors are equipped to lead specialised programmes, including underwater photography, underwater navigation, and even the use of underwater scooters (DPV).

Aqua Star offers a complete educational pathway through the SSI and SDI systems. Beginners can start with Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver courses, while those looking to progress can enrol in Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diving, or Nitrox programmes.

For divers aiming for professional status, the centre provides training for Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Diving Guide roles. They also offer specialised skills training such as Wreck Diving, Night Diver, Underwater Navigation, and Perfect Buoyancy.

Safety and technical skills are also prioritised through courses like Rescue Diver, the Science of Diving, and React Right (First Aid).

The centre provides a full range of professional equipment for hire, including regulators, BCDs, and wetsuits. For those who prefer to travel light, masks, snorkels, and fins are also available on-site.

Specialised kit is also available for rent, such as underwater cameras for photography enthusiasts and underwater scooters (DPV) for those looking to extend their range along the reef. For safety, the centre maintains oxygen kits on-site for emergency use.

The local reefs are characterised by a high density of coral life and various fish species. You will encounter a wide variety of fish and corals that thrive in the sheltered reef environments of Eilat.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants are present throughout the reef structures, offering plenty for those interested in close-up observation and underwater photography.
