Al-Haddad Scuba has been a mainstay of the Jeddah diving scene since 2011. Based in Saudi Arabia, the centre provides a gateway to the Red Sea's most significant ecosystems, offering both structured daily excursions and extended liveaboard adventures.

For those looking to expand their skills, a variety of SSI specialty courses are offered. The centre also provides the full professional pathway, supporting divers as they progress through instructor-level courses.

The Shorouk Sat is a 24-metre mini-safari yacht, refurbished in 2023, designed specifically for liveaboard safaris. It can accommodate up to 12 guests for these longer trips, offering a more intimate experience on the water. The vessel features six air-conditioned bedrooms with bunk beds and four modern bathrooms equipped with hot water.

For daily trips, the centre operates a larger capacity vessel that can take up to 50 guests, with up to 25 divers on board at once. Both types of trips depart directly from Jeddah, making the logistics of reaching the Red Sea's offshore sites straightforward.

Onboard the Shorouk Sat, you will find an air-conditioned lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with an onboard chef, and a spacious sun deck. The catering includes European and Egyptian cuisine, fresh local seafood, and a selection of snacks, juices, and Nespresso coffee. For your diving needs, the boat is equipped with two Alkin compressors.

The centre is a leading supplier of premium scuba equipment across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. For those participating in the Try Scuba programme, a full kit is provided. For all other programmes, cylinders and weights are included, while additional equipment is available for rent.

Nitrox is available for certified divers, and the centre maintains high safety standards with on-site oxygen availability. The technical setup includes Alkin compressors to support your gas requirements.

The reefs around Jeddah are characterised by colourful coral gardens that host a high density of marine life. You will regularly encounter large schools of barracuda and various species of reef sharks. The architecture of the reef also supports massive giant groupers and the iconic Napoleon wrasse.

Pelagic visitors are a regular feature, with rays and various species of sharks patrolling the deeper sections. You can also find Humphead parrotfish amongst the coral formations, adding vibrant movement to the seascape.

Macro divers will find plenty to investigate on the reef flats and within the crevices. The area is home to diverse macro species, including various crustaceans and smaller, more elusive inhabitants that require a keen eye to spot.

The Red Sea offers year-round diving opportunities. For those preferring more moderate conditions, the period between October and April typically sees more comfortable water temperatures.

Visibility in the area is generally excellent, with recorded levels reaching at least 13 metres, though this can vary depending on seasonal plankton levels.
