CascaisDive is located in the marina of Cascais, providing easy access to the Atlantic's coastal reefs. Founded by experienced instructors originally from Cape Verde, the centre has spent over 15 years exploring the underwater landscapes of the Portuguese coast.

The centre operates with a strong commitment to marine environmental awareness. Their approach focuses on the natural beauty of the local reefs and the importance of protecting these habitats through responsible diving practices.

As an SSI Instructor Training Center, the team is highly qualified to handle everything from initial student certifications to professional-level training. They provide a structured learning environment for those looking to progress through the SSI hierarchy.

The instructors maintain a guide-to-diver ratio of maximum 4 divers per guide, ensuring close supervision and safety during every excursion. The team communicates in English, making the centre accessible to international divers.

Training is available for all stages of a diver's journey, including the React Right programme and Diver Stress & Rescue. For those looking to turn a passion into a career, the centre offers the SSI Open Water Instructor course.

The centre offers a comprehensive range of SSI certifications. Beginners can start with the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver courses, while those looking to expand their skills can take the Advanced Adventurer or Deep Diving courses.

For more advanced divers, the centre provides training in Diver Stress & Rescue. As an Instructor Training Center, they also facilitate the SSI Open Water Instructor qualification for professional candidates.

The centre operates a 7-metre semi-rigid boat powered by a 150hp Yamaha engine. This vessel allows for quick transit to the dive sites, with most locations reached within 15 to 30 minutes of departure.

On board, tea and water are provided for divers. You are encouraged to bring your own reusable cup or bottle to assist with the centre's environmental efforts. The boat is used for reef explorations, day trips, and night dives.

Full equipment hire is available on-site for those not travelling with their own kit. This includes wetsuits, fins, and masks. For night diving, torches can be rented separately.

Standard dive packages include a 10 or 12-litre air cylinder and a weight belt. Please note that dive computers and torches are not included in the standard equipment hire.

The area is characterised by reef systems that are accessible to a wide range of experience levels. Divers should be prepared for typical Atlantic conditions when heading out from the Cascais marina.
