Go Dive Bayahibe is a professional diving hub situated directly in the port of Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. The centre is run by Gaëlle and Julien, who transitioned from mountain environments to the sea after 35 years of experience.

As an SDI/TDI Instructor Training Center, the facility is geared towards both recreational enthusiasts and serious technical divers. Whether you are looking for your first breath underwater or pursuing professional instructor certifications, the centre provides a structured and professional environment.

The team consists of highly qualified SDI, TDI, and PADI instructors. They offer a multilingual service, with staff capable of communicating in French, English, German, and Spanish to assist international divers.

Because the centre is an Instructor Training Center, the level of technical expertise on-site is high. They are equipped to handle everything from basic Open Water Diver training to complex technical courses such as Full Cave and Stage Cave Diver.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of diving. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Open Water Diver course. For those looking to advance, the centre offers Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and various specialties including Deep, Wreck, Drift, and Night diving.

Technical training is a core strength, with SDI/TDI certifications available for Sidemount, Nitrox Blending, Cavern, Intro to Cave, Full Cave, and Stage Cave Diver. They also offer advanced skills such as Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigator, and Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) training.

Professional training is available for those pursuing a career in diving, including Divemaster and Assistant Instructor levels. The centre is also an Instructor Training Center, capable of conducting private 10-day instructor courses or 4-month internships.

The centre provides full equipment rental for divers, including regulators, wetsuits, fins, and masks. For night dives, torches are available for hire.

Nitrox is available for use, and the centre is equipped to handle technical gas requirements. For those staying locally, a free taxi service is provided between the centre and the Bayahibe or Dominicus areas.

The reefs around Bayahibe are rich in biodiversity, featuring vibrant coral formations and a variety of reef fish. You will encounter species such as moray eels, Atlantic rays, turtles, and nurse sharks.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants are common throughout the area. Divers can observe seahorses, nudibranchs, blennies, and various species of crabs and lobsters.

The area is accessible for diving all year round. Diving conditions are generally stable, with the centre operating even when only one or two divers are booked, provided that safety conditions allow.
