Aquademi Dive Club

Established in 2010, Aquademi Dive Club has grown from a small operation into one of the most significant diving hubs in the Mersin region. Located with its office in Akdeniz and its primary diving operations in Boğsak, the centre provides access to the diverse underwater landscapes of the Turkish Mediterranean.

The centre is uniquely positioned as the only official provider in Mersin authorised by TSSF-CMASDI, PADI, and SSI. This multi-agency affiliation allows for a wide range of certification pathways, ensuring that whether you are looking for a local CMAS qualification or an international PADI certification, the standards remain consistent and ISO-compliant.

The team at Aquademi is composed of university-educated professionals and represents the largest instructor contingent in the region. This depth of personnel allows the centre to manage various diver profiles simultaneously, from those taking their first breaths underwater to professionals undergoing instructor training.

Instruction is delivered through a philosophy that emphasises safety, responsibility, and high-quality teaching standards. Because the centre holds licences from both the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation, the training follows rigorous national and international protocols.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering every level of the diving spectrum. Beginners can start with SSI Try Scuba, SSI Basic Diver, or PADI Open Water Diver, while more experienced divers can progress through advanced training such as SSI Deep Diving, SSI Wreck Diving, and SSI Decompression Diving.

Professional development is a core strength of the centre, offering the full suite of PADI and SSI professional programmes. This includes Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Instructor Training Courses (ITC), as well as specialized training like the SSI Gas Blender Nitrox/Trimix course. The centre also provides CMAS-specific training, including the TSSF-CMAS One, Two, and Three Star Diver courses, and instructor-level training.

The centre operates a variety of vessels to suit different diving styles, including standard dive boats and VIP boats for more private excursions. You can choose to dive directly from the coast or head out to deeper sites via their boat fleet.

For those looking for a more premium experience, the VIP boats offer a different level of service on the water. All boat trips include amenities such as water, snacks, and towels, and the centre also provides camera equipment for those looking to document their dives.

Aquademi provides a full range of rental equipment for divers who do not wish to carry their own kit. This includes everything required for a complete dive, from regulators and BCDs to exposure protection.

For technical and extended dive planning, the centre is equipped with Nitrox and Trimix capabilities. Safety is a priority on-site, with dedicated oxygen (O2) safety equipment maintained and ready for use.
