Native Diving Ecuador

Located in Puerto Lopez, Native Diving Ecuador provides access to the rich marine ecosystems of the Ecuadorian coast. The centre is built around a commitment to both diver safety and environmental stewardship, operating as a signatory of the International Responsible Diver Charter.

Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are an experienced diver seeking deeper exploration, the centre focuses on high-standard technical preparation. This includes the use of eco-friendly four-stroke engines on their boat and a rigorous inspection programme for all breathing gas and equipment.

The professional team consists of three full-time instructors who are dedicated to maintaining high safety standards while delivering engaging underwater experiences. They are multilingual, offering instruction and guidance in English, Spanish, and French.

As a PADI affiliated centre, the staff manages a wide range of training programmes. Their approach combines technical precision with a genuine passion for the local marine environment, ensuring that every dive is conducted with respect for the ecosystem.

The training programme covers the full spectrum of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Open Water Diver course, with Advanced Open Water following as the next step in progression.

For those looking to advance their professional skills, the centre offers Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses. They also provide the Emergency First Response (EFR) training, which is a fundamental component of the professional development path.

The centre operates a 10.60m boat designed to carry up to 17 divers. It is powered by twin 140Hp Suzuki four-stroke engines, which are chosen for their reliability and lower environmental impact compared to traditional two-stroke motors.

The vessel is equipped for various dive profiles, including night dives. Nitrox is available on board, allowing for extended bottom times and improved safety margins during your excursions.

On-site, the centre utilises a Coltri Mini Silent compressor to ensure high-quality breathing gas. The team performs regular inspections of the air quality, alongside visual inspections and hydrostatic testing of all cylinders to guarantee clean, dry, and safe air.

Full equipment hire is available for those not travelling with their own kit. The facilities include a dedicated area for divers to change and wash, providing a practical base for your diving activities.
