Located in Kampung Paya on Tioman Island, Aman Tioman Dive Centre serves as a professional hub for divers looking to explore the Malaysian coastline. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, the centre is positioned to provide a structured and reliable diving experience for those staying at the adjacent 4-star resort.

The centre is operated by MaxMarine Ocean Adventures (M) Sdn. Bhd. and is designed to accommodate a range of divers, from those completing their first certification to experienced individuals looking for guided reef explorations. The proximity to the beach and tropical forests provides a convenient base for your diving holidays.

The centre is managed by a team of experienced PADI instructors and Dive Masters. Their focus is on maintaining high safety standards and ensuring a professional service for all guests.

Instruction is provided for a variety of skill levels, ensuring that whether you are a student or a seasoned diver, the guidance you receive is technically sound and tailored to your needs.

The centre offers a comprehensive range of PADI training programmes. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or work through the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses.

For those looking to progress their technical skills or professional career, the centre provides Rescue Diver and Emergency First Responder (EFR) training. The curriculum is designed to build confidence and competence in a variety of underwater environments.

The centre operates two new twin-engine boats, powered by 300hp and 350hp motors respectively. These vessels are designed to reach the various dive sites surrounding Tioman efficiently, providing a stable platform for your dives.

With experienced captains on board, the boats allow you to focus on your buoyancy and marine life observations while you transit between the reef flats and deeper sites.

On shore, the centre maintains high standards of equipment maintenance, utilizing a Bauer PE700-VE compressor to service your cylinders. This ensures a reliable supply of air for your dives.

For those who prefer not to carry their own kit, a full range of equipment is available for hire, including BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, fins, and masks. The centre also provides dive torches for night dives and GoPro Hero 12 cameras for capturing your underwater footage.

The waters around Tioman are home to a diverse array of pelagic species and reef dwellers. You can expect to encounter various sharks, including Blacktip reef sharks (Carcharhinus melanopterus), whitetip sharks, and Nurse sharks (Ginglymostoma cirratum), alongside large schools of Jack (Carangidae), Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), and various Snapper (Lutjanus) and Fusilier (Caesio) species.

The reef itself is populated by a colourful variety of fish, such as Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), Angelfish (Pomacanthidae), and Wrasse (Labridae). You may also spot turtles and various species of moray eels, including the Green moray (Gymnothorax funebris), as you cruise along the walls and reef flats.

For those with an eye for detail, the macro life is significant. Keep a lookout for Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Cuttlefish (Sepiidae), and various Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae) tucked into the reef structure.
