The waters around Tioman are home to a variety of large pelagics and reef residents. You may encounter blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus) patrolling the reefs, or watch for eagle ray (Aetobatus) gliding through the water column.

Sea turtles are a common sight throughout the area, often found near the reef structures. You might also spot sea snakes (Hydrophiinae) navigating the shallower sections of the reef.

For those interested in larger species, great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) are frequently seen in the area, adding to the dynamic nature of the local marine life.
