Bubble Tank

Located in Seogwipo on the island of Jeju, Bubble Tank has been a fixture of the local diving community since its establishment in 2016. Originally founded in Yangyang, the centre moved its operations to Jeju in 2019 to focus on the unique marine environments offered by the South Korean coastline.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, the facility is equipped to handle everything from entry-level certifications to high-level professional training. The centre operates from two locations in Seogwipo, providing convenient access for divers travelling via the local ferry or bus terminals.

The centre is led by Course Director Jang Ki-yong (JK), who brings extensive expertise to the training programme. The instructional team includes IDC Staff Instructors Oh Yeon-ju (ELLY) and Kim Geon-woo (GUN), ensuring a high standard of professional education for those pursuing instructor ratings.

With over 24 years of combined experience in PADI instructor education, the team has trained more than 1,200 divers over the last decade. This depth of experience is reflected in their commitment to a 'safety first' philosophy and their focus on building a dedicated diving community.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses, while those looking to progress further can undertake Rescue Diver and Divemaster training.

Technical and specialty training is a core strength of the centre. You can enrol in PADI Deep Diver, Nitrox, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and DSMB courses. For more advanced divers, they offer DPV Diver, Drysuit Diver, Night Diver, and Search & Recovery training.

As an IDC centre, Bubble Tank is a destination for professional development, offering courses up to the level of Instructor. Their technical curriculum includes Trimix and JJ-CCR rebreather instruction, alongside GUE Fundamental Instructor training.

The centre provides a full range of rental kit for divers, allowing you to dive with modern equipment. For those looking to extend their bottom time or dive more complex profiles, Nitrox and Trimix are available on-site.

For technical divers, the centre supports rebreather diving and offers specialised training for DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) use. They also provide equipment and instruction for drysuit diving and night diving.
