Cuan Law provides a dedicated liveaboard experience designed to take you deep into the heart of the British Virgin Islands. Operating from Tortola, the centre focuses on high-end cruising that combines professional diving with the comforts of a luxury floating hotel.

Since 1988, the operation has established a reputation for hosting divers on a scale rarely seen in the region. The experience is built around a single, massive vessel that serves as both your transport to the best sites and your primary accommodation.

The crew is structured to manage both the technical demands of a large vessel and the high standards of a luxury cruise. On board, you will find a professional captain, an engineer, a chef, and two stewards to manage the daily operations and dining.

For the diving programme, the team includes two Dive Masters and a selection of PADI and SSI instructors. This ensures that whether you are looking for guided exploration or formal training, you have professional oversight on every trip.

The centre offers a range of training options through both PADI and SSI affiliations. For those looking to start their journey, Introduction to Diving programmes are available.

For more experienced divers, Nitrox courses are provided to allow for more efficient decompression profiles and longer dive durations during the cruise.

The Cuan Law is a 105-foot trimaran, the largest of its kind, powered by two 210 hp Caterpillar diesel engines. It is designed to accommodate up to 20 guests in total, offering a stable platform for both diving and sailing.

On board, the vessel features 10 spacious air-conditioned cabins, each equipped with a private en-suite bathroom. The layout includes an extended aft deck, an upper deck with hammocks for relaxing between dives, and a fully air-conditioned salon. All meals, snacks, and drinks are provided as part of the cruise, and the boat is also equipped with various water toys for leisure time.

The diving operations are supported by two Mako electric compressors. These units provide a full Nitrox capacity, ensuring that divers can take advantage of extended bottom times throughout the trip.

All necessary amenities are managed on board, with a focus on a seamless transition from the salon to the dive deck.

The marine life around the islands is diverse, with various species inhabiting the reefs and wrecks. You may encounter the Cryptic Teardrop Crab during your explorations of the seabed.

The reef environments provide a rich backdrop of corals and sponges that support a wide array of smaller organisms. These habitats are essential for the local ecosystem and provide constant interest for macro photographers.
