You have a living room, a kitchen, outdoor space and the option of eating in, while the resort also provides a restaurant, bar and organised activities. English is spoken by the hotel team, so you will be understood from arrival onwards.

This works particularly well if you want your diving holiday to include proper downtime. There is a beach for the horizontal hours, a pool for the less sandy ones, and enough space to avoid living out of a suitcase. The resort was renovated in 2015 and has 40 rooms in total.

The One-Bedroom Apartment is the practical choice when you want more than a bed and a bathroom. The separate bedroom has a queen bed, while the living room includes a full sofa bed, giving you sleeping space for up to four people. For a couple, that means you can keep the living room for living. For a small group, it gives everyone a defined place to land rather than a nightly negotiation over luggage.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with a refrigerator, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and kitchenware. There is also a dining table, so you can make breakfast without balancing a plate on your knees. The resort also has a private sandy beach, an outdoor fireplace, a fire pit, barbecue facilities, outdoor seating and a garden. A dock makes access to the water easier, while hammocks provide the traditional Caribbean solution to a busy schedule: stop moving.

At Tropical Touch Day Spa, you can book massages, facials, detoxifying treatments, deep-tissue massage and treatments using the lomilomi technique. That gives you something more purposeful than simply claiming a lounger and hoping your shoulders eventually forgive you.

When you want to do something active, the resort offers tennis, cycling, hiking, wildlife observation, rock climbing and cave exploration.
