The centre is owned and operated by Pablo Santos, a native Dominican instructor, underwater photographer, and fishing guide. With a personal log of over 10,000 dives, Pablo brings an immense level of local knowledge to every excursion, particularly regarding the specific habitats and marine life of the Sosúa area.

The team is bilingual, communicating fluently in both English and Spanish to accommodate international divers. This ensures that whether you are undergoing training or simply following a guide on a reef dive, the communication regarding safety and marine ecology is clear and precise.

Aqua Adventures offers a comprehensive range of training through both PADI and SSI affiliations. Beginners can start their journey with the Open Water Diver course, with subsequent progression through the Advanced Open Water Diver level.

On the walls and rocky outcrops, the scenery is defined by a rich array of corals, gorgonians, and sea whips. You may also encounter moray eels, including the green moray, patrolling the crevices of the reef.

Conditions can vary depending on the site; the Zingara wreck is located in open water and can be subject to moderate currents and heavier swell during the winter months. Some reef sites may also experience a rocky swell.
