The team is composed of experienced instructors and divemasters, including PADI instructor Ángel Leonardo Garcia, who has over six years of experience and hundreds of certifications, and Savannah, a dedicated Divemaster. For those looking for a more relaxed experience, Miguel Santana is a highly experienced guide known for his ability to capture underwater photos and videos for snorkelers.

Communication is straightforward as the team is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, French, and German. This makes coordinating logistics or technical details during training much smoother for international divers.

The reefs around Sosúa are teeming with life, particularly around the walls and rock formations. You will regularly encounter schools of sergeant majors, butterflyfish, damselfish, and parrotfish. Larger species such as bluehead wrasse, blue tangs, and yellowtail snapper are common sights among the coral structures.

In the more sheltered areas like Los Cabezos, the environment is home to bluehead wrasse, blue tangs, yellowtail snapper, and French grunt. You may also spot moray eels and various species of snapper patrolling the reef.

For those interested in macro life, the area offers plenty to observe. Keep an eye out for octopuses, seahorses, shrimp, lobsters, crabs, and squid hiding within the crevices and seagrass.

The scenery is defined by healthy coral growth, including extensive fan corals that provide habitat for many of the resident species.

The waters in Sosúa Bay are generally calm, making it a reliable location for diving. The swell is typically low, though it can become more active during the winter months from December to March or during tropical storms.

While the bay is known for its calm conditions, the best time to visit is between May and September, when the water is at its warmest and clearest. You should be aware that the peak hurricane season occurs between August and October, which can bring rougher seas and tropical storms.
