Neos Marmaras Beach is about 0.3 miles away, described as a six-minute walk. Paradisos Beach is about 0.8 miles away, while Porto Carras Main Beach is about 0.9 miles away. Castello Beach Sithonia sits around 2.4 miles away for a change of scene.

The setting also gives you a few land-based options between dives. The historic village of Parthenonas is about 2.3 miles away, with several other historic and protected sites around the wider area. A café is close by, and To Simadi Fish Tavern Restaurant is around 1 mile away.

The useful difference here is the combination of room and small self-catering setup. Each accommodation has a kitchenette, coffee machine, sofa bed, minibar and a balcony or terrace, so you can keep water cold, make a coffee before an early start and deal with the awkward gap between getting back and going out for dinner.

For two, a sea-view room is the obvious choice if the balcony matters more than extra floor space. The pool-view and garden-view rooms trade the open-water outlook for a different view, while the junior suite gives a family group more room to spread out without turning the sleeping arrangements into a deck-by-deck negotiation.

Air conditioning matters in Halkidiki when you return warm, salty and ready to fall through the mattress. Soundproofing, heating, a wardrobe, slippers and a private bathroom with shower add the practical comfort; the lift makes upper floors easier to manage when your legs have had enough for one day. Children of any age are welcome, although extra beds are not available.

When the pool loses its argument, Neos Marmaras takes over. The beach is a short walk away, and the centre of town brings restaurants, bars and shops into the evening. For a quieter change of scenery, the surrounding beaches and historic sites can be reached by car, with car hire available through the accommodation.

Thessaloniki Airport is about 67 miles away. Airport transfer arrangements are not part of the information here, so plan the journey to Neos Marmaras before arrival; car hire is available through the aparthotel if you want to move around Sithonia during the stay.

Check-in runs from 15:00 to 19:00 and requires your arrival time to be arranged in advance. Check-out is from 08:30 to 11:00, worth keeping in mind if a morning departure follows an early boat day. The minimum age for check-in is 18.
