Dive Club Kassandra

Dive Club Kassandra is situated in Kriopigi, on the scenic Kassandra peninsula in Greece. Since 1996, the centre has operated as a hub for both recreational divers and those pursuing professional careers in the diving industry.

As a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre (IDC), the facility is specifically equipped to handle high-level training. Whether you are starting with your first breaths underwater or working towards your Instructor Development Course, the centre provides a structured and professional environment.

The centre is led by Course Director Norbert Hoeger, a PADI professional with more than 15,000 logged dives. His extensive experience forms the backbone of the centre's training philosophy, focusing on developing technical competence and diver confidence.

The team provides instruction in English and German, ensuring clear communication for international divers. Training is conducted in small groups to maintain a personalised approach, allowing for individual attention during skills development.

Because of its status as an IDC, the centre is a primary destination for divers looking to advance their careers. They offer a full range of professional pathways, including Divemaster internships and various instructor-level programmes.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the entire PADI progression. Beginners can start with the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver courses, moving through Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver levels. For those looking to improve specific skills, the centre offers specialties such as Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and Night Diver.

Professional training is a core strength of the centre. They host the full Instructor Development Course (IDC), including pathways for Assistant Instructor, Instructor, and Staff Instructor. Other professional certifications available include Divemaster, Junior Divemaster, and the Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) preparation.

Safety and specialised skills are also prioritised through courses like PADI Rescue Diver, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Underwater Navigation, and the DSMB Diver (Surface Buoy) specialty.
