DIVENESS operates as a PADI 5 Star IDC Eco Center serving the Saronic Gulf, with primary access points at Varkiza Port, Palaia Fokaia Port, and Porto Rafti. The centre has established a strong presence in the region over two decades, focusing on high-quality instruction and environmental stewardship.

As a recognized PADI Eco Center, they have taken an active role in local marine conservation, adopting three dive sites in the Saronic and removing over 1000 kg of marine debris. This commitment to the environment is reflected in their facility, which was constructed primarily using recycled materials.

The team at DIVENESS brings extensive expertise to the water, with a staff qualified in sports science to support their training programmes. They offer instruction in English and Greek, ensuring clear communication for both local and international divers.

Their training capabilities are extensive, ranging from initial certifications to professional instructor development through the IDC. They also provide specialised skills training, including PADI Search and Recovery, Underwater Navigator, and Peak Performance Buoyancy.

DIVENESS provides the complete spectrum of PADI training. Beginners can start with the Discover Scuba Diving programme or the PADI Open Water Diver course, with the option to bundle Enriched Air Diver or Emergency First Response – Adult and Children training into their initial certification.

For more experienced divers, the centre offers Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver, and Rescue Diver courses. They also cater to those pursuing a professional career with Divemaster and IDC programmes. Specialist courses such as PADI Frog Kick Diver, Search and Recovery Diver, and the DIVENESS Research Diver programme are also available.

The centre operates deluxe boats for their diving excursions, providing a comfortable platform for exploring the gulf. These vessels are equipped with a kitchenette, freshwater showers, and toilets to ensure a comfortable return to shore.

On deck, you will find full sun shading via a bimini, as well as external speakers for music. The boats are stocked with water, snacks, and biscuits for use between dives. Nitrox is available for those who require it during their excursions.

The centre is a SCUBAPRO Educational Association Center, ensuring access to high-quality equipment for its students. For those needing to rent a full kit, the centre provides complete sets, including the option to hire dive computers and underwater torches.

Training is supported by a private training pool with a maximum depth of 1.90 metres, which is the first of its kind in Greece. This allows for controlled skill practice before heading out to the open sea.

The underwater landscape is defined by its colourful fixed life. In the caves like Seal Cave, you will find walls covered in various colourful sponges and marine plants. The Arsidas Cave is particularly noted for its black sea anemones and vibrant red tones.

Macro life enthusiasts can look for various shrimp species within the second chamber of the Seal Cave. The surrounding reefs and cave entrances also host a variety of smaller organisms tucked into the crevices.
