Lefkas Diving Center

Located in Nikiana on the island of Lefkada, Lefkas Diving Center has been a staple of the local diving community since 1997. The centre is easily accessible via the floating bridge and causeway that connects the island to the Greek mainland.

As a PADI Five Star centre and a CMAS Type A affiliated school, the facility is geared towards both recreational divers and those pursuing professional careers. Whether you are looking for shore dives or excursions to more distant offshore sites, the centre is positioned to serve the needs of the Ionian diving scene.

The instructional team is composed of highly qualified professionals holding international certifications including PADI, CMAS, ANDI, and EOYDA. This breadth of expertise ensures that training is delivered to rigorous international standards across all levels.

Beyond basic certification, the centre supports professional progression through the Instructor Development Course (IDC) and Assistant Instructor training. The team's long-standing experience in the region is reflected in their commitment to safety, maintaining a 100% safety record.

The training programme is extensive, covering the entire PADI spectrum from Discover Scuba Diving and Bubblemaker for children to professional levels such as Divemaster and Instructor Development. Divers can specialise in various disciplines, including Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, Night Diver, and Dry Suit Diver.

Advanced skill acquisition is also a core focus, with courses such as Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigator, and Search & Recovery available. The centre also integrates Emergency First Response training into its curriculum to ensure divers are prepared for all scenarios.

The fleet includes 7.5-metre and 5.5-metre semi-rigid boats, ideal for local excursions and navigating the coastline. These vessels are equipped with VHF radios and first aid kits to ensure safety during transit.

For more ambitious trips to distant sites, the centre operates an 11-metre cruise boat. These boats are equipped to handle special excursions, and non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks are provided on board during the trips.

The centre offers a full range of rental equipment, including regulators, wetsuits, and fins. All kit is maintained to high standards, with a focus on reliability and modern specifications.

For those using Nitrox, the centre provides enriched air services. Cylinder options are available in various volumes, including 10-litre, 12-litre, 15-litre, and 18-litre capacities.
