Areamare Diving Center

Located in Cannigione, Areamare Diving Center provides access to some of the most significant marine environments in Sardinia. The centre's primary focus is diving within the La Maddalena Nature Reserve, an area renowned for its preserved ecosystems and diverse underwater topography.

Established in 1989 by Marco Ferrazza, the centre has operated for over three decades. It maintains a small-scale, professional atmosphere that prioritises safety and flexibility for every diver who visits.

The centre is run with a focus on a warm, family-oriented environment. Following the retirement of the founder in 2018, Alain has taken over the daily operations, bringing a professional and enthusiastic approach to the centre's management.

As a PADI affiliated centre, they follow standardised training protocols. They also demonstrate a commitment to marine conservation by contributing a portion of their PADI Club membership fees to the PADI AWARE Foundation.

The centre provides a comprehensive range of PADI training programmes. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Scuba Diver course, while those looking to progress can work through the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) certifications.

More advanced divers can undertake the Rescue Diver course or specialise further with the PADI Equipment Specialist course. The centre also provides PADI Club membership for those completing AOWD and Rescue Diver training.

For those travelling without their own kit, the centre provides full or partial equipment hire. This allows you to access the reserve without the need to transport heavy cylinders or exposure suits.
