SCUBA REVOLUTION Diving Center

SCUBA REVOLUTION is an established SSI dive centre located in Cannigione, within the municipality of Arzachena in Sardinia. For over two decades, the team has operated in the crystal-clear waters of the Costa Smeralda, providing a base for both recreational explorers and technical divers.

The centre’s location offers immediate access to some of the most significant marine protected areas in the Mediterranean, including the marine parks of Caprera, Lavezzi, and La Maddalena. Whether you are looking for a shallow reef flat or a challenging wreck dive, the local geography provides a vast range of environments.

The team is composed of certified SSI professionals who bring more than 20 years of experience to the water. They are trained to support divers at every stage of their journey, from those taking their first breaths underwater to highly experienced technical divers.

Instruction is provided in both English and Italian, ensuring clear communication during briefings and training sessions. The centre maintains a strong focus on safety and professional standards across all its programmes, including specialised technical and freediving courses.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of SSI certifications. Beginners can start with Try Scuba, Scuba Diver, or the Open Water Diver course, while those looking to refine their skills can enrol in the Advanced Adventurer or Perfect Buoyancy programmes.

For more advanced divers, the centre offers a robust technical curriculum. This includes Extended Range Nitrox, Extended Range Foundations, Technical Extended Range, and Wreck Diving. For those pushing into the deep, Hypoxic Trimix (100m) and CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather) courses, including CCR Hypoxic Trimix, are available.

Beyond scuba, the centre also provides SSI Basic Freediver training and various professional pathways, such as Assistant Instructor and Dive Guide programmes.

The centre operates a modern and comfortable boat designed to facilitate easy access to the surrounding marine parks. On board, you will find snacks and drinks provided to keep you refreshed between dives.

The vessel is equipped to handle various dive profiles, including night dives, and serves as a stable platform for exploring the diverse sites of the archipelago.

A full range of rental equipment is available on-site, with the centre providing high-quality Cressi kit for those who do not wish to carry their own. This includes everything required for a complete diving setup.

For technical divers, the centre is well-equipped with a dedicated filling station. They offer Nitrox and Trimix services, supporting advanced profiles and extended range diving requirements.

The local waters are home to a diverse range of Mediterranean life. You will regularly encounter colourful reef fish, octopus, cuttlefish, and moray eels patrolling the rocks and crevices.

Macro life enthusiasts can look for nudibranchs and various small black fish tucked away in the reef structure. The area is also known for its crustacean populations, particularly around sites like the Condominium of Lobsters.

The surrounding marine parks provide a healthy habitat for various species, including those found near the deeper wrecks and rocky walls.

The diving environment in the Cannigione area is influenced by the seasonal patterns of the Sardinian coast. Water temperatures typically range from a minimum of 14°C to a maximum of 26°C.

While the area is known for its clarity, divers should always check local conditions for specific swell or current information before heading out to the more exposed sites in the Lavezzi or La Maddalena archipelagos.
