Argonauta La Maddalena

Located in one of the most striking maritime settings in Sardinia, Argonauta is situated just steps from the sea in La Maddalena. The centre has been a fixture of the local diving community for over 30 years, operating across two primary locations including the Gulf of Orosei.

The centre serves as a gateway to the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. The area is defined by its unique geological formations and a seabed that offers everything from relaxing shallow reef flats to more demanding, deeper profiles.

As a PADI IDC Centre, Argonauta maintains high instructional standards across its entire curriculum. The team is composed of highly qualified professionals and instructors with decades of experience in the Mediterranean.

Inclusivity is a core part of their operation, with guides certified by HSA to assist divers with disabilities. This ensures that the underwater beauty of the archipelago is accessible to a wider range of divers in a safe, controlled manner.

Argonauta offers a comprehensive range of PADI training, starting from the initial Discover Scuba Diving and PADI Scuba Diver levels through to Open Water Diver. They cater to those looking to advance their skills with courses such as Advanced Open Water Diver and Deep Diver.

Specialised training is also available to refine buoyancy and safety, including Peak Performance Buoyancy, PADI Night Diver, and PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider. For those looking to extend their bottom time, the Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) course is offered on-site.

The centre utilises gommone-style inflatable boats to navigate the waters of the National Park. These vessels allow for efficient access to the various dive sites scattered throughout the archipelago.

Most of the most famous dive sites are reachable within 30 minutes of navigation, while the islands of Lavezzi and Razzoli are accessible within an hour. Nitrox is available for use during these excursions.

The centre provides a full range of Scubapro equipment for hire, ensuring that divers have access to reliable, high-quality kit for their sessions. This includes regulators, BCDs, and other essential components.

For those looking to extend their time underwater or dive at night, the centre is fully equipped to support these activities. Safety is prioritised with on-site oxygen availability for emergency use.
