Scuba Side Diving Center

Scuba Side Diving Center is a PADI 5-star establishment located directly within the Turquoise Resort Hotel & Spa in Sorgun, Side. Since its founding in 2000, the centre has established itself as a reliable hub for divers looking to explore the Antalya coastline.

The centre operates from April through November, offering a variety of diving experiences ranging from shallow reef exploration to wreck diving. Whether you are looking for your first breath underwater or a technical challenge, the programmes are specifically adapted to your individual skill level.

The centre is led by experienced instructors, including Yunus Çelik and Alev Alpak, who focus on high-quality training and reliable equipment. The staff is experienced in handling diverse groups, ensuring that every diver receives personalised attention.

To accommodate international divers, the team is multilingual, with staff capable of communicating in English, Turkish, German, Russian, Dutch, French, Japanese, and Arabic. This ensures that technical instructions and safety briefings are clearly understood by everyone in the water.

The centre offers a full range of PADI certifications, starting from the initial Discover Scuba Diving experience for beginners. For those looking to progress, they provide the standard Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses.

Training is designed to be flexible, with the option to use PADI eLearning to manage your study time. The instructors focus on precision and safety, ensuring you are fully prepared for the specific conditions of the Turkish coast.

The centre utilises two inflatable boats for excursions, which help minimise transit time to the dive sites. These vessels allow for efficient movement between the coast and the various reefs and wrecks in the area.

Scuba Side provides a range of training options, including the PADI eLearning system which allows you to complete your theory before arriving at the centre. For those starting their journey, they offer a comprehensive trial pack that includes theory, video sessions, pool training, and two open water dives.

Nitrox is available on-site, providing an option for divers looking to extend their bottom time during recreational dives.

The primary diving season in this region runs from April to November. During these months, the local waters provide the optimal environment for both reef and wreck exploration.
