Turkuaz Diving Center

Located in the Bodrum peninsula, Turkuaz Diving Center has been a fixture of the local diving community for 30 years. The centre is positioned to take advantage of the Aegean Sea's diverse underwater topography, providing a gateway to the reefs and coastal structures of the region.

Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are an experienced diver seeking specialty training, the centre operates with a focus on professional standards and well-maintained equipment. They manage everything from introductory dives to advanced technical training, all departing from the Halikarnas pier in Bodrum.

The centre is PADI affiliated and maintains a professional team of instructors and guides. For those looking to progress through the professional ranks, they offer the full Instructor Development Course (IDC) pathway.

Safety and individual attention are central to their operations, with a strict ratio of one guide per diver during guided excursions. This ensures that both beginners on their first breaths underwater and seasoned divers on specialty courses receive the necessary support and supervision.

The training programme is extensive, covering the entire PADI progression. You can start with the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses, or progress through Rescue Diver and Divemaster levels.

For divers looking to specialise, the centre offers a wide variety of PADI specialties, including Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Navigation, and Night Diver. They also provide technical and skill-based training such as Sidemount, Dry Suit, and Perfect Buoyancy courses, as well as DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) training.

The centre operates a 18.5-metre steel boat with a capacity for 52 people. The vessel is equipped with a covered diving area to protect you from the sun and provides freshwater showers with hot water for rinsing off after a dive.

Onboard facilities include a bar for hot and cold drinks, and a lunch service is provided during the trips. The boat is configured for various dive profiles, including night dives, and carries Nitrox for divers who require it.

A full range of diving kit is available for hire on-site, including regulators, BCDs, and exposure suits. For those who prefer to travel light, the centre maintains a well-serviced inventory of modern equipment.

For night diving, torches are available, and the centre provides all the necessary components for a complete setup. The facilities also include areas to prepare for your day and rinse your gear.
