Ukunda Airport is around 0.3 miles away on foot, or roughly 0.4 miles by road, which makes arrival unusually straightforward if you are flying in locally. Moi International Airport is about 26 miles away by road.

Diani Beach is around 1.1 miles away in the mapped surroundings, with a drive of about three minutes or a walk of around 20 minutes. The property also places the sea roughly 50 metres away, so check the exact access route when choosing your accommodation. Either way, you are close enough to build beach time into the day without being tied to a beachfront hotel.

Children of any age are welcome, although cots and extra beds are not available, so the sleeping arrangement deserves attention if you are travelling with younger members of the family. The apartments themselves provide the space; the policy does not provide extra beds as a safety net.

The nearby coast adds beach time, with white sand, loungers and umbrellas. Cycling, canoeing and windsurfing are available away from the property, while snorkelling and diving are also off site. You can therefore keep the day gentle at the pool or use Germano Cottages as a base for a wider Diani programme.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to 18:00, and you need to give the property your expected arrival time. Check-out is from 07:00 to 10:00. The proximity of Ukunda Airport helps here, particularly if your flight arrives or leaves at an awkward hour, but the stated reception window is worth keeping in mind before you book a late arrival.
