Paradise Divers

Paradise Divers has been operating on Utila since 1996. Founded by a local family, the centre has spent nearly three decades establishing itself as a reliable fixture in the Honduran diving scene. It is situated a short walk from the main pier, just 50 metres to the left once you arrive on the island.

The centre is designed around a relaxed, social atmosphere that brings divers together. It functions as a hub for those looking to explore the diverse underwater topography of the Bay Islands, from shallow reef flats to deeper walls.

The centre maintains a professional approach within a convivial, community-oriented environment. While the atmosphere is laid-back, the focus remains on rigorous professional standards for all training and guided dives.

Instruction is available for all levels, ranging from those taking their first breaths underwater to professional divers working towards their Divemaster certification. The team is experienced in handling a wide variety of diver profiles, ensuring a steady hand for both beginners and seasoned explorers.

As a PADI affiliated centre, Paradise Divers offers a comprehensive range of training programmes. You can begin your journey with the Open Water Diver course or progress through the Advanced Diver and Rescue Diver certifications.

For those looking to specialise, a variety of PADI specialty courses are available. The centre also provides training for the Divemaster level and offers Freediving instruction for those interested in breath-hold diving.

The centre provides various facilities for divers to use between trips. For those looking to explore the surface or the shallows, kayaks and snorkeling equipment are available for use.

Beyond the water, the centre features a new deck equipped with hammocks, providing a space to relax and watch the sunset after a day of diving.
