Underwater Vision

Located in La Punta, Underwater Vision is a long-established dive resort and training centre in the Bay Islands. The Cooper family has operated on Utila for forty years, with roots tracing back to the island's early European settlers. The centre is situated a short walk from the main ferry dock, making it easily accessible for those arriving by sea. For those arriving by air, local transport is readily available to bring you directly to the resort. The facility operates as both a dive centre and a resort, offering accommodation options that range from basic to more comfortable setups.

As a PADI Career Development Centre, the team is geared towards high-level professional instruction. They facilitate the entire progression from entry-level certifications to the Instructor Development Course (IDC), including Assistant Instructor and Staff Instructor levels.

The instructors are experienced, multilingual professionals who provide training in both English and Spanish. This ensures clear communication during technical briefings and underwater guidance, which is vital for maintaining safety and precision during training.

Environmental responsibility is a core part of their operation. The team is actively involved with Project AWARE and organises regular beach clean-ups to help maintain the local marine ecosystem.

They also provide the Lionfish Hunter specialty.

The centre provides full equipment hire for divers, covering all necessary kit for your dives. This includes regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, fins, and masks, allowing you to travel light if you prefer.
