Cofi Beach is about 2 miles away on foot, while Caracas, Pata Prieta, Mosquito Pier Beach and Sun Bay Beach are reached by road.

Isabel Segunda, the island's largest town, is a five-minute walk away. That puts the ferry terminal, boutique shops, convenience stores and restaurants within useful reach, rather than requiring an expedition every time you need something cold to drink. The entrance to Vieques National Wildlife Refuge is about 3 miles away by road, and the bioluminescent bay is about 5 miles away.

Sea views are the main reason to choose a room here. The couple's choice is one of the sea-view king rooms, with an extra-large bed, air-conditioning, a private bathroom and the Atlantic outside the window. The refrigerator is a small but useful detail when you return warm, salty and in no mood to hunt down drinking water, while the television and free WiFi cover the quieter part of the evening.

Flights from San Juan, Isla Grande or Ceiba regional airports take around 25 to 30 minutes, followed by a taxi journey from Vieques Airport.
