Neel Diving

Located near Fort Kochi Beach, Neel Diving has evolved from a specialist underwater services organisation into a comprehensive PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre (IDC). It serves as a key training hub in Kochi, catering to divers looking to progress from their first breaths underwater to professional instructor status.

The centre is positioned for easy access via public transport and is situated close to many of the area's main hotels. Whether you are looking to start a career in commercial diving or simply want to explore the local reefs, the facility is designed to support a wide breadth of underwater disciplines.

The team consists of five experienced PADI certified instructors. As an IDC centre, the staff is specifically equipped to lead divers through the professional progression, including Divemaster and Assistant Instructor courses.

The centre places a heavy emphasis on safety and high-quality instruction. This is supported by their background in professional underwater services, ensuring a disciplined approach to training and dive management.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the PADI Open Water Diver course, progressing through Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver levels.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers a vast array of specialties, including Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Drift Diver, Night Diver, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. They also provide training for specific skills such as Underwater Navigator, Underwater Photographer, and Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver.

Technical and professional divers can access advanced training including Rebreather Diver, Sidemount Rec Diver, and the full professional pathway from Divemaster to Instructor Development Courses (IDC). The centre also offers unique programmes in freediving, commercial diving, and underwater welding/cutting.

The centre maintains a well-stocked inventory of professional kit, featuring brands such as Scubapro, Sharkskin, Hydros Pro, and Everflex. For technical divers, they provide Xdeep equipment and Ratio computers.

On the gas side, the facility is equipped with Luxfer gas cylinders and Bauer compression systems. Nitrox is available on-site, and the centre is also set up to support rebreather diving with equipment from Pandora Labs.

For those beginning their training, an on-site swimming pool is available for controlled skill practice and group instruction before heading into open water.
