Blue Sea Diving and Water Sports

Blue Sea Diving and Water Sports is situated in the coastal area of Kovalam, near Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The centre is positioned close to Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Samudra Beach, providing easy access to the marine environments of the Arabian Sea.

The centre operates as a multi-activity hub, combining scuba diving with various water sports. Whether you are looking to begin your training or are an experienced diver seeking local exploration, the facility provides a base for underwater activities in this part of India.

The team is led by the owner, Mr. Ansari, who brings a professional commercial diving background to the operation, ensuring a high standard of safety and technical knowledge. The diving staff includes instructor Ajith V S, Dive Master Akshay K P, and rescue divers Mohammed Sadik and Abusali.

The instructors and dive masters focus on professional standards and environmental sustainability. They are equipped to handle a variety of diver profiles, from those taking their first breaths underwater to those working towards professional PADI certifications.

The centre is a PADI affiliated facility offering a complete progression of training. For those new to the water, Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water Diver courses provide the essential foundations of buoyancy and breathing underwater.

For continuing divers, the centre provides Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster programmes. They also offer the Emergency First Responder course to ensure all divers have the necessary safety skills for the underwater environment.

The local reefs are home to a variety of marine life, including colourful coral reefs that provide the structural backdrop for many dives. You can regularly encounter sea turtles, rays, and small sharks patrolling the area.
