Eternal Divers is a pioneering dive centre located in Pondicherry, India, specifically recognised for its expertise in technical diving and sidemount configurations. As the first RAID-affiliated centre in the country, it has established itself as a primary hub for divers looking to move beyond recreational limits.

The centre is built around a philosophy of individualised learning, ensuring that every diver has the time and space required to master complex skills. Whether you are beginning your journey with an Open Water course or advancing through to Trimix, the focus remains on precision and competence.

The team is composed of technically trained instructors who are all active technical divers themselves. The centre is led by Jonah Skoles, an instructor trainer and equipment technician for Scubapro and Bauer, who has been a pioneer of technical and sidemount diving in India since the first PADI technical instructor programmes were established.

Instruction is highly personalised, with the centre maintaining low student-to-guide ratios to ensure safety and skill mastery. The staff holds a wide range of professional qualifications across RAID, PADI, TDI, SDI, and NAUI, providing a deep well of expertise for both recreational and professional candidates.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the entire spectrum of diving disciplines. For recreational divers, they offer PADI and RAID pathways from Open Water Diver through to Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver. They also provide specialised training in Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, and Underwater Navigation.

For those moving into the technical realm, the centre offers Sidemount, Twinset, and full Technical Diving programmes, including Deco 40 and Deco 50. Advanced divers can pursue Trimix, Gas Blender, and even Instructor Development Programmes, including Tec Instructor and Specialty Instructor pathways. Freediving is also a core offering, with courses ranging from Foundation to Advanced levels.

The centre is equipped to support both recreational and technical diving requirements. For those training in technical disciplines, Nitrox and Trimix gases are available, with gas blending services provided on-site.

Safety is a priority, with oxygen provider equipment maintained for emergency use. While the centre offers various training programmes, divers should note that basic equipment such as masks, wetsuits, fins, dive computers, and SMBs are not included in the technical course costs.

The best windows for diving in the area are from February to April and from September to November. During these periods, the conditions are most favourable for regular dive outings.
