Blue Sea Diving Center

Located within the Falkensteiner Resort Borik, Blue Sea Diving Center offers a base for exploring the Adriatic coast near Zadar. The centre is set within a pine forest providing shade, just a short walk from the pebble beaches of the resort.

Since opening in 2020, the centre has focused on providing access to the diverse marine environments of the Croatian islands. Using a speedboat, the team can quickly reach offshore sites that might otherwise be difficult to access on a standard dive trip.

The team is composed of professional instructors certified by NAUI, an internationally recognised diving organisation. They cater to a wide spectrum of experience, from those looking to try a single introductory dive to seasoned divers seeking professional development.

Instruction is handled by qualified professionals who manage everything from basic skills to advanced training. The centre's location within a larger resort complex also means easy access to various amenities for those staying on-site.

A complete range of NAUI training is available on-site. For those starting their journey, the centre offers introductory dives and the Open Water Diver course, followed by the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

More experienced divers can progress through the Rescue Scuba Diver and Divemaster programmes. The centre also provides instruction for the Master Scuba Diver level, covering a comprehensive path of professional and recreational development.

The centre operates a speedboat designed for rapid transit to the various island sites. This allows for efficient dive trips, ensuring more time is spent in the water and less time commuting between the coast and the dive locations.

The centre provides a full range of high-quality diving equipment for hire, suitable for divers who prefer not to travel with their own heavy kit. This includes essential components such as regulators, BCDs, and wetsuits.

All equipment is maintained to a high standard, with the centre noting that their stock is new and of high quality. The facility is conveniently located within the resort, providing a streamlined experience for divers transitioning from the shore to the boat.

Dive planning is subject to local weather conditions. The centre does not operate if the weather is poor or if conditions prevent the speedboat from safely reaching the islands.
