Cretandivers

Cretandivers is a PADI 5 Star dive centre situated in the coastal village of Agia Pelagia, Crete. Positioned just 40 metres from the shoreline on the main road, it serves as a reliable base for exploring the varied underwater topography of the Heraklion region.

The centre is designed to accommodate a wide spectrum of divers, from those taking their very first breaths underwater to experienced professionals. Whether you are looking for a relaxed reef dive or more structured exploration of caves and rock formations, the setup focuses on safety and personalised attention.

The team is composed of expert PADI instructors who prioritise a high standard of education and safety. They operate with a strict ratio of maximum four divers per guide, ensuring that every member of your buddy pair receives the necessary attention and supervision.

Communication is straightforward for international visitors, as the team is proficient in English, French, and German, alongside Greek. For students undertaking training courses, the centre provides DAN insurance as part of the programme.

A comprehensive range of PADI courses is available on-site, catering to every stage of a diver's progression. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the PADI Scuba Diver course, which typically takes 2 to 3 days.

For those looking to advance their skills, the centre offers the PADI Open Water Diver course (3 to 4 days) and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course (up to 3 to 4 days). More advanced training includes the PADI Rescue Diver course, which spans 5 to 6 days, as well as Divemaster training.

Experienced divers can also utilise the PADI Refresher programme to brush up on their skills before heading out on a dive.

The centre is well-equipped for both students and those preferring to dive with their own kit. They maintain a full range of rental equipment, with a focus on new and well-maintained Cressi products.

For those travelling from further afield, the centre manages high-quality transfers via air-conditioned minibuses. These services connect Agia Pelagia to several key locations, including Malia, Stalida, Hersonissos, Gouves, Heraklion, Ammudara, and Fodele.

The local reefs are characterised by an abundance of marine life, with fish being a constant presence throughout the dives. You will frequently encounter squid moving through the water column.
