Situated in Kalamata, Greece, the Kalamata Freediving Academy is a specialised training centre built by freedivers for freedivers. The academy focuses on providing high-quality, structured instruction designed to move you from your first breath-hold to advanced depth performance.

The academy offers a comprehensive range of certifications through AIDA, SSI, and Molchanovs. Beginners can start with AIDA 1 - Intro to Freediving or the SSI Basic Freediver course, progressing through intermediate and master levels such as AIDA 4 - Master Freediver or SSI Performance Freediver.

For those looking to specialise, the curriculum includes WAVE programmes ranging from WAVE 1 for beginners to WAVE 4 for competitive freedivers. Advanced training is also available for specific disciplines, including Deep, Wave, and Monofin training, alongside structured coaching plans for athletes.

The academy provides complete kit for all its courses, so you do not need to bring your own equipment to begin training. This includes the necessary gear for freediving disciplines, ensuring that the equipment is appropriate for the specific training being conducted.
