Elite Diving Centre

Established in 2005, Elite Diving Centre has spent nearly two decades exploring the diverse underwater landscape of the Fethiye region. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, they provide a structured environment for both recreational exploration and professional training.

The centre operates daily boat dives, taking you out to a variety of environments including reefs, walls, and natural rock formations. Whether you are looking for calm, shallow waters or more challenging profiles, the local area offers significant variety.

The team is composed of a dedicated staff of at least 20 employees on any given day. This includes qualified PADI instructors, Divemasters, administrative staff, and a dedicated cook to prepare meals on board.

Instruction is delivered by experienced professionals, and the centre focuses on maintaining small dive groups to ensure safety and individual attention. The team manages everything from local hotel transfers to the daily logistics of boat-based diving.

The centre provides a full spectrum of PADI courses, ranging from the initial Open Water Diver qualification through to Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver.

For those looking to progress professionally, they offer Divemaster, Assistant Instructor (AI), and Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) programmes. They also host a variety of PADI Specialty courses, including Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and Underwater Navigator, as well as specialized training in Peak Performance Buoyancy, Digital Underwater Photography, and Search & Recovery Diver.

Daily excursions are conducted from a boat that departs at 09:00. The trips are designed as full days at sea, providing a comfortable platform for both training and exploration.

On board, you will find a buffet lunch consisting of two main dishes, along with water and snacks available for purchase. Hot and cold drinks are also available on the boat, and the crew can provide photos and videos of your dives.

The centre offers a complete range of equipment hire for divers who do not wish to carry their own kit. This includes everything required for a full dive profile.

Nitrox is available for use, catering to divers looking to extend their bottom time or manage nitrogen loading during multi-dive days.

The local marine life is diverse, with groupers (Epinephelus), moray eels (Muraenidae), and octopus (Octopus vulgaris) frequently encountered. You will also find scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), sea bass, and various Mediterranean species such as sea bream (Sparidae) and dorado.

For those interested in macro life, the area hosts nudibranchs and various small reef creatures. Shrimp (Caridea) and cuttlefish (Sepiidae) are also present among the rock formations and crevices.

In the sandy areas and bays, you may spot sand gobies and other small fish species. Occasionally, great barracuda can be seen passing through the area.

The local waters are influenced by seasonal changes, with temperatures ranging from 18°C to 28°C. The dive sites vary from calm, sheltered bays like Dalyan Bay, which features a sandy bottom and minimal current, to more exposed wall dives.
