Anbadlola Guadeloupe Plongee

Anbadlola Guadeloupe Plongée is situated on the authentic sands of Anse Caraïbe in Pointe-Noire. Since its establishment in 2009, the centre has built a reputation for high-quality sub-aquatic activities, specifically focusing on the delicate ecosystems of the Guadeloupean coastline.

The centre holds the Esprit Parc National label, a distinction that reflects its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable tourism within the National Park. This status ensures that every excursion, whether it is a guided snorkeling trip or a deep freediving session, is conducted with a deep respect for the surrounding coral habitats.

The centre was founded by Antoine Maestracci, a national freediving instructor and former captain of the French national team. This high level of expertise is woven into the centre's DNA, particularly for those looking to progress in breath-hold diving.

All guides are state-qualified professionals trained specifically in Caribbean snorkeling and freediving. They operate in small groups, with a maximum of 10 divers per guide, ensuring a personalised experience and close supervision. The team communicates in French.

The centre is an FFESSM affiliated organisation with a strong emphasis on freediving (apnée). They offer a structured progression through Apnée Bases 1, Apnée Bases 2, and Apnée Niveau 3.

These courses include both theoretical instruction and practical sessions held at sea. For those interested in guided snorkeling, they also offer guided 'randonnée palmée' sessions. Please note that while the courses cover theory and practice, certification fees and federation licences are handled separately.

The centre operates a boat with a 28-place capacity, though they purposefully limit departures to small groups of 10 people to maintain a quiet, professional atmosphere. The vessel is used for daily excursions to the reefs and wrecks of the area, including night dives. On board, water and biscuits are provided for the divers.

For those not bringing their own kit, the centre provides a full range of rental equipment including masks, snorkels, fins, and 3mm full wetsuits. They also provide inflatable boards for snorkeling sessions.

The reefs of the Cousteau Reserve are home to a vibrant array of tropical life. You will regularly encounter green sea turtles, parrotfish, angelfish, and various jewel fish as you move along the reef flats.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants are also present throughout the sites, adding detail to the underwater scenery for those observing closely during guided snorkelling or freediving sessions.

The centre operates from the Anse Caraïbe beach in Pointe-Noire, with departures scheduled for 9h and 13h30. The centre offers night diving sessions, particularly on the Franjack wreck.

Safety is a priority, and the centre reserves the right to cancel or postpone outings due to technical issues or weather conditions. In such cases, divers are offered a reschedule or a full refund.
