Blue Odyssey Diving

Blue Odyssey Diving has been operating in Saint-Martin since 2014, situated at the WaterSport area of the Hôtel Hommage in Baie Nettlé. The centre is ideally positioned near Marigot, providing easy access to the diverse marine environments of the French side of the island.

The operation is built around a focus on efficiency and comfort, with cylinders being filled directly on the boat to streamline your time on the water. Whether you are looking for your first breath underwater or seeking to explore specific wreck sites, the centre is equipped to handle various levels of experience.

The centre is led by Philippe, an experienced instructor holding PADI, FFESSM Level 2 (Moniteur Fédéral 2), and DEJEPS E4 qualifications. His background as an engineer brings a structured and professional approach to dive management and safety.

Instruction is conducted in both French and English, making the centre accessible to a wide range of divers. The team focuses on a service-oriented approach, ensuring that training and exploration dives are conducted with technical precision.

Blue Odyssey Diving provides a comprehensive range of training through PADI, FFESSM, and CMAS affiliations. Beginners can start with a discovery dive (baptême) or progress through the Open Water Diver course.

For those looking to advance their technical skills, the centre offers Niveau 1 (20m), Niveau 2 (20m/40m), and Niveau 3 (40m/60m) certifications. This allows divers to build a structured progression from shallow reef environments to deeper technical diving.

The Maxthan is a Zodiac 850 Open Pro powered by twin 150hp Mercury engines. This setup provides stability and speed, ensuring comfortable transit to dive sites even when the sea is somewhat formed.

On board, you will find a freshwater deck shower to rinse off after your immersion, along with a medical assistance kit and oxygen equipment. The boat is designed for easy diver turnaround, featuring two ladders located at both the port and starboard sides to facilitate boarding. The crew manages all heavy lifting, so you do not need to carry your kit on your back during the ascent.

The centre offers full equipment hire, with all diving kit having been completely renewed in 2026 to ensure modern standards of quality and comfort. This includes everything required for a complete dive setup.

For those who prefer to use their own equipment, the shore-based facilities support efficient preparation. The proximity of the boat to the club, stationed just 50 metres away, allows for a seamless transition from the centre to the water.

The centre offers dedicated night diving excursions, which provide a completely different perspective on the local sites. These dives are available for a supplement, though divers should provide their own lighting equipment.

The Maxthan's twin-engine configuration allows the crew to navigate the local waters effectively, maintaining stability for the divers even when conditions are slightly more active.
