Ronilački Centar Marco Polo is situated right on the shoreline in Mošćenička Draga, providing immediate access to the Kvarner Gulf. The centre is designed as a modern diving hub, blending professional training facilities with a direct connection to the local marine environment.

As an SNSI affiliated centre, it caters to a wide spectrum of divers, from those looking for their first experience in the water to technical divers and professionals pursuing instructor qualifications. The location allows for a seamless transition between land-based theory and the water, whether you are diving from the beach or heading out on a boat.

The centre is run by professional instructors providing training across the entire SNSI spectrum. You can progress from initial discovery dives through to Divemaster and Instructor courses within the same structured environment.

Instruction is delivered in several languages, including Croatian, English, Italian, German, Spanish, and French. This multilingual approach ensures that technical theory and dive briefings are clearly understood by an international community of divers.

The training programme covers the complete range of SNSI certifications. Beginners can start with Try Dive or Open Water Diver courses, while those looking to expand their skills can pursue Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Nitrox Diver specialities.

Professional pathways are also a core focus, with courses available for Divemaster and Instructor levels. The centre also offers specialised training in deep diving to 39 metres, navigation, and diving in currents.

The shore-based facilities are extensive, featuring two Olympic-sized pools with a depth of 2 metres, alongside a dedicated 25 x 25 metre training pool reaching a depth of 5 metres. These tanks provide an ideal environment for mastering buoyancy or practicing skills before heading into deeper water.

For those requiring technical gas support, the centre provides Nitrox and Trimix cylinder fills. A full range of equipment is available for hire, covering all your essential kit needs for both recreational and night diving.

The House Reef is a specialist location for macro enthusiasts. You will find a significant diversity of nudibranchs, including Aplysia depilans, Janolus cristatus, Cratena peregrina, Caloria elegans, Felimida krohni, and Felimare picta.

Beyond the macro life, the local waters support a variety of reef species. The biodiversity of the Kvarner area provides a rich backdrop for both recreational exploration and underwater photography.
