Adriadive DC

Located in Razanj, near Rogoznica, Adriadive has been operating as a family-run diving centre since 2009. The base is situated directly on the water, providing immediate access to the Adriatic coast and its diverse underwater topography.

The centre serves as a gateway to some of the region's most interesting sites, ranging from shallow reef flats to deep, vertical walls. Whether you are looking for a relaxed holiday dive or are pursuing technical certifications, the proximity to the dive sites makes for efficient, short boat trips.

Managed by István Tóth, the centre maintains a personal, family-oriented atmosphere. The team includes professional instructors capable of guiding you through various certification levels under the SSI and SDI affiliations.

Instruction is available in English, with the site's primary language being Hungarian. The centre is well-equipped to handle a range of divers, from those looking for their first experience in the sea to more advanced students pursuing technical training.

Adriadive provides a comprehensive training programme through SSI and SDI. Beginners can start with an Intro mer session or work towards their Open Water Diver certification.

For more experienced divers, the centre offers Nitrox 1 and various technical training courses. The curriculum is designed to take you from basic buoyancy and skills through to advanced technical diving.

Dives are conducted using a motorboat that departs from the base. The transit to the local dive sites is short, typically taking between 10 and 15 minutes, allowing for more time in the water.

Nitrox is available on board to support extended bottom times for recreational and technical diving. The boat provides transport to various sites including walls, wrecks, and canyons across the local area.

The centre offers a full range of equipment for hire, ensuring you can dive even if you are travelling light. This includes regulators, wetsuits, fins, and masks.

For those requiring specific gas blends, Nitrox is available on-site. The base is conveniently located at Villa Marija, right on the water's edge, making the transition from land to boat straightforward.

The local underwater landscape is defined by its vibrant gorgonians and diverse rockfish populations. You will frequently encounter various crustaceans, including spiny lobsters, and several species of moray eels and octopuses along the walls and wrecks.

Macro life is abundant for those who take the time to look closely. The area is home to nudibranchs, seahorses, and various molluscs tucked into the reef crevices.

In the open water and around the rocky outcrops, you may spot catsharks, rays, and occasionally ocean sunfish. The reef flats and walls also host sea fans and various species of rockfish and grouper.

Diving in the Adriatic is best experienced during the summer months. The local currents are variable and depend entirely on the specific site being visited, particularly on deeper walls or around islands.

While most sites are easily accessible, divers should be aware that some areas, such as Mulo, can experience changing current conditions that require more experienced handling.
